I don't know. For me, Steranko is one of the few people I'd be interested in meeting and getting a sig or talking to(Roy Thomas, Aragones, Jaffee, are a few others that immediately come to mind). How does the cgc thing work unless there's already a witness there?

Are we going to fight about One Bourbon One Scotch and One Beer like we do about Ram Jam's Black Betty? I know Ram Jam's Black Betty! Must be a British thing. I'd bet money everyone else on this Board knows him, he was very popular. Bad to the Bone? Drink Alone? Now go listen to his best song:

For a few years his songs had a pretty regular rotation on the rock stations. I don't recall ever seeing articles about him in the music press, nor do I remember seeing any Thorogood music videos back when MTV launched. Maybe he never reached the UK audience the same as in the States?

He plays pool against Bo Diddley and ala Caddyshack he drops the 8 ball in by flicking the ash of his cigar. I thought I Drink Alone was also a big hit?

That would be considered a loss-of-frame foul... Not using the tip of the cue AND having a cigar above the playing surface

And Bats, that's how I imagine those arguments between Chalkie and Andy Capp may have started.

But you're right, he smokes that cigar right over the felt.

I just read the Spidey graphic novel Family Business.Pretty dece. I added this to my queue. Forgot about this one Between Waid and Dell'Otto this has to be good, right? The art was very nice to look at and the book just had a pleasant hand feel Story was good, nice and focused, wrapped up pretty clean at the end,not needing to go looking for the next chapter.four and a half out of five!
