Cripes. I wonder what sparked that? Is there any more info? I read the replies to the FB posts, and it didn't clarify. Mostly well wishes to the shop until some ass wipe suggested the shop wasn't telling the whole story, also suggesting the woman may have "had it coming to her".

I was tricked until I read!I have a few interesting adds for the French editions of Vampirella in the back of a European French language seventies magazine I picked up groo knows where.I end up with the strangest esoteric items coming into my life and they just stay.

There's so much going on with that cover, and each ad seems funnier than the one before it. Any idea what prompted them to use the "Alfred" image in the first place?

They may have thought it was a funny face to use in the ad, but then to bring the face back as the mascot couldn't be coincidence. I have read that the image had been around for a few decades already and was used as a representation of a "fool" or " " as MAD used in #21.
