I've just watched "Pay the Ghost" with Nicolas Cage. It was ok but not exactly an edge-of-seat riveter. Cage has always been one of my favourite actors but as they get older, the quality roles just drop off.
If you have a spare 90 minutes and nothing else to watch, I'd say try it. It's not great but it's worth a watch. I've only seen one movie with Cage that I really didn't like and that's "Wild at Heart". It just didn't appeal to me. I await the Lynch mob...

A movie I watched recently and really enjoyed (didn't think I would based on the reviews and trailer) was Captain Fantastic.
There were two scenes I found to be extremely powerful, and both were related to grief (which I've always said is an industrial strength emotion). I won't spoil it for anyone by saying any more. I highly recommend this movie.
