There aren't too many bands I thought sucked to begin with but then I started to like, but Skid Row is one of them. Love the cowbell in Monkey Businees!

Cowbell can totally ruin a song for me and has NO place in black metal imho.Death metal cowbell drives me nuts too,but it's everywhere so I must learn to live. Goddamn cowbells

Bobby's a little off-key singing the verses but what the hell... Katie Melua made an entire career out of that.

I was listening to a different "Overkill" that formed about the same time the "Overkill" (Megaforce Records) from NJ got together. Sometime in the 80's the other Overkill added "L.A." to the name to differentiate them. I'll have to give a listen to the NJ band again. It's been years since I heard them(late 80's probably).

They're still out there, they're last single Mean Green Killing Machine sounds more like old Overkill. The three discs I would listen to are Years of Decay, Horrorscope and WFO.
