Superman “Bradman” (1988) A raw copy sold on the CGC boards back in 2017(apparently for $500). There’s currently 50 copies on the CGC census, 49 Univeral & 1 Sig Series. Only 2 9.8’s. Original cover art by Curt Swan & Angelo Torres

From GCD: ”This is a custom comic commissioned by English real estate businessman Godfrey Bradman to celebrate his son Daniel's bar mitzvah on his 13th birthday, and was given out to his friends to mark the occasion. The comic features Godfrey's son Daniel and Andrew Hunt (Daniel's half-brother), along with the rest of the family. Per the author (David Levin), it is named after the classic science-fiction movie "This Island Earth." Paul Levitz in his book "75 Years of DC Comics: The Art of Modern Mythmaking" says the print run was 200 copies, most likely split into 100 for the family and 100 for DC.”. www.comics.org/issue/1111049/The Recalled Comics site claims the commission cost was $18,000 USD. Not sure where that figure came from, but possibly Paul Levitz provided further details in his book.

It also has to have some sort of importance, and this book does not have that. I have a very rare comic-only one copy exists. Made by my dad. It is worth squat.

I know it's rare I just didn't think it was as valuable as the asking price was so I passed. I think the copy I was offered was more in the Fine range and the ask was well over a few $100.
