I've invited "Hollywood1892" here... Should I apologize now...? Only if he takes you up on the offer

That's actually a pretty cool anecdote. Mainly because it's plausible but also because, you know, Gene Simmons and Keanu Reeves.

My sentiments exactly. Great post. Where was it? Unfortunately the point will be instantly missed by the emboldened who will mistake themselves for the Bringers Of Knowledge.

]Only if he takes you up on the offer That guy's not smart enough to bother me There's nothing malicious about him, he's just another fanboy poser speculator with $$$ in his eyes. Two Piece is the one who should be invited over

He ordered nothing but a plate of french fries, and ate it all. Gene was with his family. I saved the signed slip rather than take my tip for it, because...I mean, come on, Gene Simmons! Still have it. The best tipper is Rick Dees. $50 on a $29 lunch tab, $100 on dinner. Very generous. Joanne Worley liked to eat there, Parker Stevenson...oh, I was Marion Ross' waiter, too. Mrs. C! She came on her birthday, October 25, 1999. Whaddaya know, 20 years ago today! It was a typical Hollywood chi-chi eatery.

There are more than a few posts in this thread that are breaking the forum rules, please re-read them HERE, and which are also re-emphasized in the first post of this thread HERE. If you choose to discuss someone from another forum, you need to be VERY careful that your comments do not violate these rules. You may, of course, link something from another forum and comment on it. You may even state your vociferous disagreement with it (if that's the case). But if there is an individual associated with the linked material, you need to be VERY careful what you say ABOUT that individual, and how you address them. Please keep in mind that this forum is not monolithic, that opinions vary widely here as do friendships, and that comments made about individuals on other forums may offend people here and elsewhere. In light of this, it's extremely important that these comments are as civil and respectful as possible. To be specific, derogatory nicknames and derogatory modifications of forum names are considered trolling, and possibly a personal or vulgar attack. Please edit and modify all posts that contain this violation within the next 24 hours or they will be removed.

I've invited "Hollywood1892" here... Should I apologize now...? Only if he takes you up on the offer If he does, I have this to say: Fair warning...if you come in with a chip on your shoulder, as you have at CGC, complaining about how "newbs are treated", or with the nonsense you posted in the "newsstand premium" thread, you won't be treated with the kid gloves you are at CGC.
