That post was deleted because the entire subsection was deleted, not because of any particular post. If you have not sent any such messages to anyone, great! Much appreciated! However, allow me to point out the very problem that I am describing: That's it, precisely. You were made aware by someone sending you a private message. Someone(s) is/are obviously trying to make problems through private messages, which is my whole point. If it's not you...great! Glad to know! Much appreciated. Points of correction: I do not, and cannot, "impose" any "rules" on anyone, and never have. I am neither moderation nor administration, and have no more power or authority over others than anyone else to impose anything. Saying something is inappropriate is not the imposition of anything by force. This is the problem we have: the deliberate shading of words and meanings to cast our opponents in the very worst light possible, all the time. It's disingenuous. As well...as I have already explained at great length, the situation at CGC is such that I am not allowed to be frank without the constant threat of moderation. Though you have decided you don't wish to interact, I will tell you that you are welcome to say whatever you wish (including "personal attacks") about me HERE, because HERE I am allowed to respond and am not muzzled, like at CGC. Also...the very fact that you have sent ME private messages that contain criticism of others is, actually, evidence that you have done it about me. So, it's not at all accurate that I make the accusation "without evidence." That said...if you have never sent anyone a private message containing a disparaging, critical, or negative comment about me to anyone, then I apologize for assuming you have. Done, and happy to do so! Thanks for your time! I made him aware on my messageboard. It was a passing comment based upon the content that had called my attention to join this board. The posts in this thread were made to the public. I merely discussed the observation of such a post since the history behind it was baffling to me.

Thanks, but I'll let him speak for himself, if he so chooses. Whether you notified him or not, it remains a fact that people have used private messages to disparage others. He was merely one among many mentioned. If he's never done it, great, then we have no issues. If he has...my point stands.

By the way...these boards have been recently jumbled, so I cannot be completely sure, but I suspect that that comment was made in the now defunct private GROUPS/CLUBS thread to which Defiant1 was not a member, and so had no access to said posts. I could be wrong...but I don't suspect I am. If that's the case...then no, Defiant1 couldn't have notified anyone of the content thereof.

Not Parker, it's Dgarthwaite. Correct. I do not hide the connections between many of my usernames, I just use it as a tool to be aware of who is keeping notes.
I have experienced online stalkers so it's nice to know who those high risk individuals are.
I'm probably on a govt. watch list because I ran a security site and one of my web pages was possibly featured on the old Screensavers TV show.
I never saw the episode, but a link to my site was in their show notes.
My website was visited by all major branches of the govt. including whitehouse.gov. One stalker individual was calling the neighbor of one of my board members trying to cause problems between him and his neighbor.
Yeah, I use different usernames and will continue to do so. DEFIANT1
I don't know/care about any of that crap. I just wanted to make sure they knew who you were, the guy whose Playmate girlfriend was the inspiration for "Jamie's Crying" because she once had brunch with the Board Op for Van Halen. Or something like that

It is obvious that you don't care about any of that because you are stating the facts wrong. I dated a playboy coed model, NOT a playmate. She was in a video, but the recording artist was black not white.
Although I saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth, I have no stories related to them.
An ex that I dated did marry the road manager for Guns & Roses. Cinderella's manager's girlfriend once told me that I was the guy she should have married.
My stories seem 'out there" and implausible, but they are all true.

Okay. FYI... this board is going in my hosts file when I get home from work so that my computer will not access it anymore... even by accident. Consider exploring your own lives more fully instead of dwelling on the lives of others so much. Make a life for yourself.

If it's any consolation, no one is interested in your life. Stu was simply highlighting the outlandish nature of posts you've made on other forums (which may of course be true, however... see first sentence). You only became a topic of conversation when you were banned from CBCS. That's the type of thing we talk about in the "other forums" thread.
Moving on, you can leave if you wish, however you are more than welcome to stay and join in any conversation. We welcome all who wish to participate in a civil manner.

Here's the last post in the "newsstand" thread, which was destroyed by the children. I hate it when they lock threads on posts like that. I'm a "say whatever you want to me, so long as I get to respond" guy. Silly CGC.
While most of these statements are generally true (for everyone), they're all just meaningless platitudes, spoken by someone who has no clue what they're talking about, having been a member for all of 8 months, and, far more importantly, having virtually no direct experience with the subject of said platitudes.
Judging people by what they write on a message board, without actually interacting with them, is foolish.
It would be like judging Stephen King by reading his novels (most of which I have read.) Can I get a glimmer into who King is by reading what he writes? Of course. But does it go beyond a glimmer? Only a fool would think so.
The herd mentality of people is one of the more unpleasant aspects of human nature.

...and I don't think I need to mention the irony of the entire post. Hubris, indeed...
