As of the start of 1798, the Gregorian calendar was 11 days ahead of the Julian calendar, which remained in localized use until 1923. What if Greg's calendar was the right one!? Isn't that the one we use now? So then it's Jules who got shafted?!?!

Rodophe Topffer was born in 1799. A Swiss writer and artist who created the content that was published as The Adventures Of Obadiah Oldbuck, considered by some to be the earliest American comic book.

I recall when Bob Beerbohm was touting this book as the end all be all of platinum comic collecting and sold, I believe, two copies to a collector on the CGC boards, Steve someone or other, for like $10,000 each! What a boondoggle!

He was in the mortgage business when he started out. I can't say for sure it was Beerbong's fault, but after the OO boondoggle Steve quit his mortgage job and became a New Age scam artist!! www.holisticdna.com
