75c? What are they going to do when the price isn't 75c, but is still a Canadian price version...? Are they going to say "$1.60 Canadian Price Variant" for Batman #400...? They were already complaining about how much work it would be to note certain things...this seems like one of those things...

I skimmed through the article and, unless I missed it, I didn't see anything regarding non-75c Canadian Price Variants.

Unless the Canadians consider these American price variants?

An equally valid point, and easily explained through the Parallel Universe Theory...although 'Merica!! does a nice job as well.

I just noticed your original link was to Ben Nobel's "so-filled-with-errors-as-to-be-functionally-useless" blog. Bleagh. It's one thing to be ignorant...it's another to be unwilling to learn.

Did anyone notice the sale of the CBCS 2.5 Tomb of Terror #15 recently? This book sold for $1750 back in September and then sold for $1,025 on October 28, but was relisted and sold for $965 on 11/4. That's a pretty steep drop for the book. Was the sold price due to the book losing heat or was it because it was slabbed by CBCS?

I'd like to say I feel bad for seller 2 and 3 but I don't.

Seller 2 relisted after only receiving $1,028 for it and got even less than that on the relisted auction. Losing $800 in only a couple months is pretty bad. Buyer 3 definitely came away with a cool book at a decent price.

Seems like a smart move. I wonder why language like "8 weeks max" is still used.

linkI wonder if it was actually like this. Aside from asking the customer if they plan to make another submission soon, assuming that they will and pushing a suggestion based on that is wrong. I also find these responses unacceptable. I wonder if the mention of where their new Customer Service is based had anything to do with the quick lock. If I slabbed books, this would be a big turn off. I hope they don't lock any/every thread that follows up on this. I don't doubt this will be resolved, but it will be because he went to their Forums. Is this the type of detached, self-serving response customers will be getting from Beckett? Will threads discussing it there be locked? Maybe "matches & salad forks" is more accurate? One post saying the customer needing to pay (submit another order) in order to get these fixed is "BS" is about as bad as it got, unless the post that says "deleted" was a MOD move. But again, hardly "torches & pitchforks" from "you all".
