I know the boardies over at the CGC board rave over how great their service is but I think they have some of the most incompetent people working there. I've made multiple calls to CGC about a book that had a notation left out of the label and then was promised they would credit my account for the shipping fees. Turns out I had to give them another call since they forgot to credit my account for the fees. I will most likely have to call them tomorrow to verify the fees were indeed reversed. I also sent out an email asking them about the error but of course they never respond back. One of the boardies started a thread basically kissing their ass to which I replied that I wasn't satisfied with their service.
Well, over the weekend I sent CGC a request to merge my account since I had to use two separate emails to log into my CGC account and the chat board account. Well, guess what, they wound up just disabling one account without doing anything to fix the problem so I can access my CGC account but now I can't access the chat board account. Are they that incompetent? This was finally resolved.

Some of them are, some of them aren't. Until the principals start taking things more seriously than they have for almost 20 years, these things will continue to happen.

I've dealt with the same guy over the phone, and while he seems very nice, his follow thru is horrible. I've had to call him multiple times since he doesn't respond to emails and the repeat calls to him is usually because he dropped the ball on resolving the previous problem. The people running their website just don't seem to care too much either.

Fiddy,
Unfortunately, CGC is using the 'squeaky wheel' method of addressing customer service issues. Normal channels don't always work very well...you have to squeak...then they fall all over themselves to get you to stop squeaking because it's bad for business.
If they keep giving you the runaround, contact Brad Bradley (Bradley Bradley on Facebook) and link your post from here.
He has a good reputation for being a 'fixer' and getting it done quickly.

So, if I complain about my mis-labled Cable #1 with no gold foil, not only will I get a grade bump, but finally get in a green label as I hoped for? Wait...

Thanks for the advice Ditch. I called them this morning and it appears it's been fixed but I'm still having issues with signing onto the chat boards. I don't post too much there but sometimes they have some books that pop up that are on my want list.
