My schedule is getting really busy, and with only 3 people getting paychecks I think I might cancel it and go back to automated paychecks.
The problem with automated paychecks is the period is difficult to keep track of because it's a variable. The period starts at the beginning of your paycheck payout which can change depending on whether you meet the qualifications. But it is fair, and I like the fact that it's automated since it's WAY less work involved.
The alternative is to remove the weekly paycheck altogether.
Let me know what you guys think. 1) Go automated, even if it's confusing as hell? Or 2) Get rid of paychecks.

Given the two choices I'd go with the automated option.
Just fyi, last week I had plenty of posts but only two on Sunday. That happens where I'll have one or two days each week that I'm otherwise occupied. Didn't want you to think I'm slacking.

I'd go with option 1. I thought I had enough posts but missed it by 1 on one day. It was a day I liked a few posts and I guess I lost track of how many were actual posts.

I had French all the way from pre grade one to grade ten.Two years was compulsory in high school. That's because there's a bunch of Frogs in the middle of your country who disrespect the Queen Mother!

I only missed it on one day, and that's because it was a long day at work, I went out with friends directly afterward, & didn't get home until after midnight Made-Up Standard Time where you are. The paychecks are the only way I'm going to be able to get a #1 and up, really, so I just don't want them to go away. I vote for whatever option that is or turns out to be.

Ok...so it looks like everyone would like paychecks to continue. I agree, they're fun and make the game more interesting. A few minutes ago, I set up the following software rules: Paycheck1) Daily Paycheck 2) No bonus 3) Daily post requirement = 10 4) Wage Amount = $20 5) Paid Into: Wallet So, if you make 10 posts in the 24 hour period after your last paycheck, you'll earn $20 in a paycheck paid into your wallet. I eliminated the bonus because it added to the confusion, but I can bring that back at some point if you guys want it. This is how the coder explains it (he was replying to someone)... So you can see that the way this is coded it's easy to get confused. Also, if you aren't logged in constantly, the timestamp is affected by your next log in time. And to make matters worse, I've found through testing that sometimes the paycheck is delayed. In addition, Bats once got completely screwed out of a paycheck for no apparent reason. So, the automated paycheck is flawed. It's confusing and prone to problems. But...it's fair...everyone is treated the same, and it's just a game. If you don't get a paycheck, you are free to rend your clothes and gnash your teeth...in fact I encourage it. But my schedule won't support answering a bunch of questions or making manual restitutions. It is what it is...full of boils and warts. If you guys hate it, we can always turn it off. Oh yeah, almost forgot...there is a delay of several days before it kicks in and starts. Sorry. Grief counselors are standing by...
