Hi Everyone, I have been looking at grading of 9.6's and the disparity seems to be wide on some of the books I am looking at. For example one book I am looking at at the moment is graded at 9.6 but the flaws seem excessive or am I mistake? I would appreciate your expertise. Discoloration under the Tarzan logo - under his feet ad water marks? in the black area to the right of the witch doctor in photo. I would really appreciate any of your expertise This is the book in particular: www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=378739

What you're seeing is either artifacts from the scanner, slight scuffing on the inner well, or simply differences in the artwork itself.
You're not going to have a typical 9.6 with the problems you describe.

I saw that there were posts om Atlas Comics and especially number 1 Targitt. I grew up partly in France and remember reading these types of characters in their comics. They looked American, dressed and sounded American out of the 1970's, kind of like Archer but a comic book and not a spoof.

I can't wait to see the response when this person Googles "bondage".

And I'll never understand the obsession CGC has with bondage. I thought that was related to OPG always making a "bondage" notation as there was enough collector interest out there for those covers?
