Who is the greatest superhero and why?A fun game to remind us why we got into superhero comics... and to bring out the inner child in us all. Childish arguments, mocking and generally just laughing at each other's choices is strongly recommended  Answers don't have to be serious and you can post as many times as you wish.

Batman is the greatest superhero because he can accomplish anything without being super. Whether in "superhero" gear or in civilian clothing, Chuck Norris doesn't wear a mask nor does he have a secret identity. |

Also, Dark Phoenix > "Light" Phoenix. I just like the maroon/gold colour combo better.  |

For a character without powers I'd have to go with Iron Man. With powers I'd think the default (for me) is Superman, although he's an alien. Super can generally accomplish anything, so I suppose I'm thinking in terms of "most powerful".
In a similar vein, who does everyone think is the greatest animal character from any era/genre ?
