At the time that one came out, I would randomly buy stacks of books off the newsstands whenever I was out at the grocery or wal-mart or what-have-you.
The X-Men were my main focus, so I tended to gravitate towards them, X-Factor, and Wolverine.

Gen 13, Maxx, Pitt, and the like. The Aliens, Predator and Terminator stories were just fantastic, some of those mini's were extremely entertaining.
