But do you know what condiment IS good on pizza, especially cold pizza...? Ketchup. Yup. I knew kids in junior high school that dunked the school-pizza in ketchup, but that was to make it taste good. FTR, our "ketchup" was watered down tomato paste. Have I ever mentioned how bad the food was in schools around here was??? This is something that I just remembered - in HS you could use the "regular" lunch line or you could go through a short line where it was all pre-made food, burgers & wrapped up pizza slices, fries (that were cold, limp, and grease-soaked)in a styrofoam cup, that kind of stuff. The cheeseburgers... I remember the bun being a hard, dry seeded roll that was bigger than a softball, a slice of "cheese" bigger than the bun, and a tiny little hamburger patty inside that was, I kid you not, no more than half the diameter of the bun. Perfectly centered, too. The "cheese" had been melted at some point (somehow) so there was no getting around eating a bad cheese sandwich before you ever got to your burger without just ripping away large tracts of bread. The only time I ate at school was soup & sandwich day, just for the sandwich. Choice of grilled "cheese" and peanut butter & honey. I remember the PB&H sandwiches fondly for some reason. Cheap white-bread stuffed with enough PB&H to make two sandwiches. It really was obscene, I would never make a sandwich like that on my own. Not that it was bad in any way, just can't reasonably use that much PB&H!

I can see that. I wouldn't do it, but I can see it. Ketchup is the best condiment ever made. So is mayo. I can eat (?) ketchup straight from the bottle. Know why...? (It's mostly sugar.) Don't let anyone tell you sugar isn't a drug. Ok, ok, it's mostly tomatoes and vinegar, but still...it's got a lot of damn sugar!

Not that it was bad in any way, just can't reasonably use that much PB&H! I worked in the cafeteria when I was in Jr. High. I was a terrible thief. I'd steal $5-$10 a day, every day. Just take the cash, and instead of putting it in the till, I'd turn around, grab whatever bought by whomever, and stuff the cash in my pocket. This was back in 1984-1986, when $5 was a significant amount of money to a kid. I wish I hadn't done it. The lunch lady was a nice German woman, who really wanted to believe in me. There was another worker, an Asian lady, who caught me, and told the boss, and she sat me down and asked if I had...I told her no. I wish I could go back and undo it.

Ok, ok, it's mostly tomatoes and vinegar, but still...it's got a lot of damn sugar! A lot of damn salt for something so sweet, too. That's something I never noticed before - the sweeter something is, the more salt they can hide in it, I assume because sodium is a flavour enhancer. I am definitely healthier, but I am not gonna sit here & say I don't miss having a box of Kraft Dinner for dinner.

I'd say most of us have done some stupid when we were kids.

Yeah, we all have. Not just stupid, but wrong and, frankly, evil. Hurting people for selfish gain.

I stole comics from my LCS when I was a kid and have no regrets, they ripped me off a lot more than I ever took

We see the super hero tattoo threads all the time and I always say I have none. Now that I think of it, I do sort of have a comic tattoo. So... Remember this guy from the back of your 90's(?) Marvels? That's where I got it. Flipped for your convenience.
