I just saw that the NPAS (National Pancake Awareness Society) has proclaimed kittens as their source of meat for a new version of chicken 'n waffles the are developing, called "Pussies & pancakes".
NPAS representative Chuck Diapers says "Kittens are very tender and have a soft, veal-like quality to them that we think pairs well with pancakes (any type - regular, buttermilk, whole wheat, buckwheat, you name it) and is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. We use only top-quality USA-sourced kittens, which are then separated, breaded, then quickly fried. We are sure you and yours will find this new dish delicious!"
In other news, there have been reports of stolen cats (usually pregnant) and kittens all across major cities and some smaller urban areas. Police are looking into it with all the usual depth & attention to detail they give all their other cases.
