We went to Venice one year... Bumped into a chap from work walking down a side street! I was in Taiwan with an associate one time. We walked up to the top of this pyramid-type structure (I don't remember what it was). It was hot as hell up there. When we reached the top we met a very old man, it was just the three of us. After a few tries in other languages, he started talking to us in English. He realized we were Americans and asked where we lived. We told him and then found out he had lived in Palo Alto where we worked.

We bumped into the same fella at the airport a few years later.

Oh, I have an idea where that is...off the 17, on the way to Los Gatos, right? Vicinity? Kinda close. If you're on 17 South you'd get on 85 East for about 7-8 miles to the Blossom Hill exit. 7-8 miles is vicinity. I think I've only been on the 85 once. It's an alternate route to Morgan Hill, right> If I've ever needed to go to Morgan Hill, I've just taken the 101. But I've driven 17 from San Jose to Scott's Valley literally a thousand times. I commuted between SJSU Scott's Valley in 93-94.

And, what was that address again...? And when were you planning on being out of town, with the alarms turned off.....?
