Wouldn't it be good if you could make any thread a battle thread? Thoughts?

Wouldn't it be good if you could make any thread a battle thread? Thoughts? Your award gives you an advantage that none of the other members could overcome. I know not really answering your question, but it's sort of unfair as currently you're impervious to any threat we might otherwise pose to you. Hypothetical threats, obviously. You won your crown fair and square. By being a better comic book fan than everyone else.

Wouldn't it be good if you could make any thread a battle thread? Thoughts? The plugin won't work on existing threads, it has to be new ones. I checked.

( ) I like it Thanks but you guys know more about comics than I do I'm just tenacious!

Think of all the piddly little details you remember relating to comics. Someone whose hobby is collecting souvenir shotglasses or some such wouldn't hear "tenacious" applied to themselves in a lifetime, I imagine.

Some of the things you guys remember is amazing! Maybe I should change my display name to something more original like "Tenacious B"

I can only seem to start them in the games area. Yeah, the set-up requires identifying which forums the game will be applied. I can apply it to other areas. That's what I was thinking... Should it be an option in all threads? What would be better than being in the middle of a heated discussion - one that's really testing your typing skills - and Deadshot pops up...?

Imagine this... I start a thread saying Hulk #181 is Wolverine's first appearance. Boardie X happens along and before they can type "But he appears in the last panel of..." BAM! A BadAss appears and they're hitting the attack button repeatedly until they're out of hit points. I win my argument on a technicality. It's the future for the rules of debate...

I like my idea for a "Fight Club" Forum (Arena). 2 guys debate using the facts and skills at their disposal. A "real-time" poll is used to decide the winner (remember the poll can be changed). After a certain % is achieved, a winner is declared. Loser is banned for a week. Winner gets the loser's profile name in his custom title (similar to a bull's ear award).

Sounds like a great idea! I'll watch!

This idea is so ridiculous that it's crossed the line into "awesome" territory. I like the innovating thinking. I wouldn't ban the loser, but consider an embarrassing avatar or "scarlet letter" of some sort.
