So far, my favorite for 2016 is: Hell or High WaterLoved it. Great acting, great writing, great humor, realistic action scenes... Without spoiling it for anyone...there are some super funny scenes that involve guns and Texans. There's also wonderful dialogue between men that love each other and express it with caustic insults. This is definitely a "guy's" movie - I don't think too many women would "get" it.

Hacksaw Ridge.
For best documentary: The Eagle Huntress. (If this is playing anywhere around where you live, SEE IT!)

Yeah, I want to see Hacksaw Ridge - it looks good.
Anthropoid was a really good movie too.

There is some heavy 'buzz' for Mel Gibson winning for best director, maybe that and also winning best picture.
