Was he in that? Interstellar is a haze... Left quite an impression, eh? Once he ended up behind his daughters bookcase, that is when it was ejected from my mind.

Just watched Charlie Brown the new movie. Was pretty impressed actually. Held very true to the roots of the strip and animation specials, even the voice acting was on par with what I remember from my childhood. It was too Snoopy intensive, but to be honest, to clear an hour and half, it really had to be. The story isn't why you watch it though. The character interaction was great, not enough Linus, but just the right amount of Lucy.
Was really sitting on the fence for this one, but pleasantly surprised.

MetalPSI's Walking Dead recap: On season 2 Ep 07 now. Nothings happening, but can't stop watching. Was actually waiting for Merle to make a grand entrance, but after seeing the hallucinating Daryl, I don't think I'll bother waiting. I'm pressing forward now because I hate Carl's guts, in the hopes they are ripped out via his spine being removed. The Georgian drawl is getting to me. I like Daryl, he's like the anti hero. Perhaps it's the redneck in me. I'm beginning to think the books are probably WAY better than the show. I don't get the arousal for this show.

I said I hated Carl, and I do, but who I had meant was Dale. Pretty eerie how I was almost bang on that one.
Now I was watching it to find out why they were coming back without being bitten, but then found out that the Dr at the CDC said they were all infected anyway.
So NOW I'm watching it to see what happens with the chick with the sword and the tough blonde lawyer.
Think I'm at Season 3 Ep 04. I don't know how that vato stayed alive so long through EP 03. I would have killed him straight off the bat.
I really hate Carl now. Giant manjina

I dunno if it's the actor or not, but they are trying to pull off Carl as some bad ass, the whole moral thing, how such a situation corrupts the innocent and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Was happy to see Merle again, and kinda unhappy to see him go. But he went out in style, so that's cool. Was waiting for the end of The Guv, and was disappointed. What a stupid villain. It's so cliche and transparent. Again, they really wanted this character to be a bad ass, and didn't pull it off yet again. So predictable. How is it that the throw away character of Merle has more depth then the now main villain? I like the mystique of Mishonda when she had less lines. The ending with Aubry was great and at least well done, although her demise was pretty stupid. I don't even know if I am getting names right

I've got a problem with the way Mischon treats her sword. It's not a tool, it's a weapon. You use a machete to cut through brush and your sword to chop heads off. A machete is a tool, YOUR SWORD IS A WEAPON THAT ISN'T TO BE ABUSED. For a character that uses the proper stances (sometimes) for killing thrusts, she really should know how to treat her sword. As it stands, that thing would be more jagged and useless than a 60's hacksaw

To be fair her character has done nothing but go downhill since the debut. The actress portrayal was pretty damn good at a seasoned warrior, and episode by episode, the form and function she must have trained so very hard to learn totally evaporated. Not a wonder she was knocked on her ass and sprained her ankle.

If you read the comics, don't be prepared for the same Michonne as from the TV show. At one point, TV Michonne smiles.

And the regular novels give the Guv a lot more depth, if you want that. You feels things for him you'd never expect.

Not really. I suppose I should have started a WD thread, but in reality, being at season 7 EP 03 now, I don't see the point. The books have to be better. The amount of pure luck, tripping over your own feet, and for crying out loud, it took them 6 seasons to finally show a real weapon, the spear. If a zombie apocalypse were to happen, that would be the first thing I would make. I don't see much in character progression either. The first two seasons were pretty damned good, I have to say. It makes way more sense than now, at any rate. It's like a video game, with each season they level up, and now zombies aren't a problem, hell they are comedy relief. I do have to admit, the actor portraying Neegan is doing an excellent job at bringing across a total nutjob. Smart, sadistic and pretty real. There are more real people out there like Neegan than anyone is willing to admit. It brings WAY more realism to the show than Governer ever could. They really should have just titled it The Rick Grimes Adventure Club. Now a really good story about a zombie apocalypse would be to make a show based on survivors and each one is about a different character or group of people. Then you can intertwine those stories when you start running out of steam. I went ahead and looked up the walking dead on wikipedia, to see where the series currently is, and talk about disappointing. It's The Stand with zombies. Pride and Prejustice, with Zombies Romeo and Juliet, with ZOMBIES This is why I hate pop culture. Remember in the 80's and it was vampires? Dunno what it was in the 90's I was too busy, then in the '00's it was pirates. 70's was cops, 60's detectives, 50's cowboys....blah blah blah. Pick an idea, rinse and repeat. haha Just like eating . BTW another Stephen Ogg sighting, this guy is getting popular and rightfully so. He was fantastic as Trevor in GTA5

Just got back from Logan.
Not bad, but definitely not great. Basically, this is the way Wolverine should have been portrayed to begin with.
Spoilers if you haven't seen it
What's the damn story with Charles and Logan being out on their own anyway? Does this come from the story of where Logan was tricked into thinking he was fighting enemies and was actually killing all the Xmen in the mansion? Could someone elaborate on that storyline? I haven't read it myself, was it days of future past?
The reaver storyline had Caliban helping the Reavers to find the Xmen when they were in seclusion living in Australia correct? The only times I've seen Caliban in the comics is the Age of Apocalypse series and in Wolverine issues around the 90 mark. He didn't have a mind in that one, was just all brute.
