Hey Siggy, those are really cool. I'd start collecting them, but dang, they're pretty expensive even for low grade copies. I really like those old comic magazines. The first one I bought was Comics Collector #1. I get all nostalgic whenever I see the cover of that magazine and remissness back to a time when things were much more simple with regards to life, responsibilities, and just enjoying a comic book for it's entertainment value and not worrying too much about it's value.

I don't normally share a sketch, but I was staring at this small vinyl Venom figure I have, and whipped this out in 15 minutes, which is lightening fast for me. I've been practicing with very simple sketches without attempting anything resembling a serious effort, until this. I'm pretty darned happy with it (another rarity), and may continue with it. I think his head is too big, and hides his Trapezius Muscles more than it should. Crappy image  |
