I was reading about local television stations in the Bay Area, and it turns out that Carol Doda has a bit part in the movie Head (which I've never seen). It looks super dumb, but it's a cult classic so I'm parking it here to watch later.

NASA's Curiosity Rover finds a shiny thing! Looks like a trash bag. We are Martians! It's probably a meteorite. We'll know soon. But wouldn't it be cool if they found gold or platinum on mars near a dry river bed? We'd have a new gold rush (or whatever), and Mars would be explored and settled rapidly much like the Europeans did in the New World (sans genocide).
