What can I say?
I've been watching this show for eight years, and I guess by definition that makes it my favorite.
I love the Biblical twists. God abandoned his creations, humans being his greatest. The angels who had been entrusted with protection, fought amongst themselves for control of the universe. Demons are a threat to humans, but more of a tool to the angels. Sam has been to hell and back, Dean to purgatory and back. Etc., etc., etc. Great show, with one of most complicated plot lines ever.
Just saw S8E21. I love seeing Amanda Tapping from Stargate, along with Mark Sheppard from Battlestar Galactica as regulars. We have a new angel, who was entrusted with the word of God, played by Curtis Armstrong who's been in a million different roles including Miles from Risky Business. And now we know what Sam's third and final trial will be in order to close the gates of hell. Oh, and Classics Illustrated #108 was mentioned by Sam.
