No, not really. In the Trinity, the Father loves the Son, and the love shared between them is the Holy Spirit. The Trinity of God is like nothing else, and all words and metaphors fall short and fail to capture the depth, uniqueness, completeness and perfection of the Trinity. If God needed, he wouldn't be God. God does desire us to share in his love though. So he made us for a hobby then. Maybe a little more like how a parent creates a child. Not just to pass the time. A bit more involved than putting model trains together for the sake of seeing them go "woo-woo" around the track.

So he needs us. He needs something to love. Does it go any deeper? Does he enjoy watching a reality instead of just nothing? I mean before he created us it was just him and nothing. why does he need to be glorified though? It becomes quickly and crushingly humbling to realize that God has a unique and eternally-directed love for you, kav. Since God is outside of creation, not bound by time or space, not confined to experiencing us as we slowly slog our way through the days of our life, but instead God is ever-present, and every moment in "our time" God is fully present with us, even though we have already lived through some moments of the past, and as we experience this current moment, and have X number of moments of mortal life left on earth. It doesn't matter to God, since he exists outside of time to experience every single moment with us that we experience in "our time". God doesn't have to "wait" for us. To him, he is with us at every moment of our life, all at once. God loves everyone even serial killers.

Being "broken" by God is actually more of our own doing than his - we gain a slight morsel more of "independence" from life itself when we reject or separate from God. God loves everyone even serial killers. He hates what they do. Look at Saul of Tarsus. He was a "serial predator" of early Christians, even participating in their killing. But God "broke" him (blinded him) and used him after his acceptance and conversion on the road to Damascus. Same with Moses (had to be broken from being a prince to living in the wilderness for 40 years before he was ready to accept God). Not everyone is willing to give to God though even after they have reached rock bottom (see Pharoah) because of their own pride. God despises that kind of pride because that leads man to death (since without God, there is no life).

God does not hate. The christian god maybe but not the real god. Do you think God loves evil? God does not hate. He does not have petty emotions. He is a wonderful, incredible being. Its only when humans project their emotions onto their conception of God that this fallacy exists. The concept 'evil' is a human invention. We have to stop projecting what we experience onto God.

At our level, what we call evil exists and has to be dealt with. God does not exist at our level. If what we call evil existed for God he could wipe it out with a thought.

Or more specifically, is God changed by creation?

We're not in God's realm and he's not restricted to past, present, future or time in our realm at all. It has already happened, in an instant. He has already wiped it out, in his level. The whole book has already been written from the moment of creation. Every word. Small nuggets have been given to us through revelation. We, though, are experiencing the wiping out of evil in a "slow-motion" time-constricted level. Because we are not God, so we can't experience it the way he does. ETA: a bit more

Maybe not a good way of putting it.... maybe this, what is the "opposite" of God, what is "without" God? I do believe the part in bold. Jesus spoke in parables because we don't the words nor the mind to comprehend it. So you believe God is eternal, but changing? If God can "change" then can God "end"? In an infinite set of possible changes that God can undergo, one of them must then include ending.

Nothing is not God there is nothing in the universe that can bar him but I understand your question-the answer is ignorance. Ignorance of God. Talking about God presents some problems-all time is simultaneous for him so in one way you could say he is not changing. And no God cannot end.

Evil cannot exist in the presence of God in the realm of God (heaven). Evil is instantaneously cast out of God's presence (the fall of evil). In the presence of pure infinite light, darkness cannot also exist. Evil can exist here though, and does.
