I got two pernts... woohoo. How many locked threads will Dylan need before he’s permanently disqualified from the game?

For the record, that was not Cal’s first thread on the CBCS forums. His achievement wasn’t as glorious as the locked thread title suggests.

Wow. $600 IRS reporting limit for everyone soonThis is going to be a game-changer for a lot of sellers out there. Many (most?) eBay comic book sellers don't report their sales income (it's just a fact), and many were getting away with 6-figure eBay incomes without paying taxes. I was wondering when this loophole would be closed, and rather surprised it's taken so long. I would imagine this would make comic conventions more popular in the future than in the recent past. Cash transactions on Craigslist? (I wonder. ) Anyway...very interesting information.

By the very nature of the Ebay game changer IRS ruling, in person Shows will see an increase in attendance. Craigslist, I am not so sure. To many risks, I think, and to many ripoff stories. I only have one minor thought. In WVA, the shows would require the Dealers to have a Business license, and it could be a temporary, issued by the State/ local gov. office, for non-fulltime State Dealers, and directly tied to tax revenue. They required receipts for the Show to be disclosed. There are, or course, a lot of ways around it, but a big ticket item...and I don't know what big ticket would be as a value point, say $500, is a Dealer going to disclose such a sale, rather than take a chance it would be revealed in another manner? I don't know.

I don't know. Not necessarily - why would I go to a show and buy "collectables" when I know it will just make it harder to sell those items down the line in the long run? No one is going to be unscathed by this.
