I caught that yesterday and after some thought I am not counting it for the LTPC. Precedent was set on this over the years as mods would frequently open a topic themselves (Arch) say what they wanted, allow some comments and then lock it. Those threads were never awarded points. The internal debate I had in this matter is the longevity of the thread and quantity of posts that were made between the opening and closing of the thread. Since previous threads did not distinguish between what could and could not be counted based upon the factor of longevity and quantity of posts, I will stick with precedent here. It's a mod announcement thread as some were made in the past, and then locked by a mod. No points awarded. |

Two from the Moderation thread concerning a nomination.

We need a scientific study to show whether or not there has been an increase in locked threads since the moderation changed. Is there a scientist in the house? I say, is there a scientist in the house?  |

I think everything is up to date now. lack of quality control thread was hilarious. Captain Asparagus seems to just rove the internet, telling people how much they suck with his 'advice'. Just imagine in real life  |
