Not quite as sensational as Magic Dan and the TMNT #1, but certainly a black eye for the QC team. Hopefully this is a first time/only time thing as I’d hate to think one or more of these has hit the market, but with the card switched out, and the case resealed with a microdot or two of superglue. I look forward to finding out the response this you-tuber gets.

Finally! An answer to the question about adding a Pedigree designation to cards. I will say I’m disappointed that CGC chose the word “Pedigree” for this type of customization as it seems to dilute the meaning or value of their so named comic book pedigrees. As it is, the term is already being applied randomly to multiple “collections” in comic book dealer inventory’s as a sales tool to inflate perceived value and desirability, and this can only further that trend.  I left a post, asking. I was also curious if there are pedigree collections for cards, specifically something as relatively new as Pokémon and Magic? Well, it’s been a month and no answer to my question. A rep(PaulS.) replied to a couple questions, but not mine. There’s a few other unanswered question regarding the cards, so I’ll just assume CGC doesn’t know. |
