The War of the Gargantuas was a favorite movie of mine growing up. We did not have cable when I was a kid and this movie played a lot on the few local channels we were able to get with an outdoor antennae.

Same here as far as not having cable access except for a few friends whose houses were in an area where cable was actually an option (Ah, the good 'ole days... ). I just recently discovered Svengoolie, and they air older B-movie horror stuff. I can't find an online schedule, but it's mentioned on several sites and carried on MeTV.

I only just discovered Svengoolie because DC made some kind of deal with him or bought his rights. They've been advertising the hell out of him in the comics. They have 2 page ads where Svengoolie is part of the DC Universe and he interacts with different characters. I can't check him out tho because we don't get MEtv.
