Would it work if they called it Angry Hour? So many alcohol laws are plain silly. It's likely all politically motivated. I'm sure the overall benefit to both businesses and customers far exceeds the occasional tragedy that may result from having discounted drinks.  I think Mass did it because the amount of drunk driving accidents was out of control. I think the time of the crashes had something to do with it (more accidents at 7pm than at 2am?) |

I agree the majority(if not all) of alcohol laws stem from old timey religious beliefs and now are maintained because it's a good look politically. The blue laws or Sunday laws are a good example. I might have mentioned before, but when I worked at a deli County laws forbid alcohol sales prior to noon on Sunday. Around 11:30am folks would start to congregate in the shop just waiting for the clock to change. It was so odd to watch that scenario repeat week after week.

You think the steroids did that to him? He said he got hooked on using bleaching cream. He must have used gallons of that to turn himself into looking cream to off-white. |

Ahem,I grew up with a picture of the Queen on the wall(not the Irish side of the family) of the dining room,and have her on all our coins  .Oma loved her.I wonder where that picture went?I think it was this one.Seeing pictures of Oma as a young girl,they looked very much alike.  |

Umm...we have the Kardashians. Who? Exactly. Like I'm supposed to know who the Duke or Duchess of Windsor are. I know who Dame Judi Dench is, but that's because she's a national treasure. I'm not sure if she's in line to be Queen or whatever, though. |
