But CGC also told me in no uncertain terms that the plan was to get rid of the Watercooler for a while. It was just dead weight to them with nothing but aggravation being caused by some people, and they had no need for it any longer. To quote the movie: Just when you think CGC can't be any dumber........they do something like this.......and totally redeem themselves. For nearly two decades, CGC had a forum full of (mostly) loyal customers who were fans of their service and strongly supported them. Now look at them. In just a few short years, they have managed to turn a large portion of the people on their OWN forums against them. I'm still trying to figure out how they could take a much loved company and screw it up so completely. Seriously.....how do you f*** something up that badly and not even realize that you're doing it? The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if this is somehow also designed to have a 'cooling effect' on discussions against Blackstone's narrative and goals (like the ESG movement), which the Watercooler DEFINITELY did by people who didn't fall for everything hook, line and sinker.
I'm not saying it's happening, but it is within the realm of possibility for firms to undermine discussions that go against their interests. This is the new way of the world in that regard.

- Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???
I'm guessing that will change in the not so distant future. |

My guess is that the new "moderation team" have never opened a book, let alone a comic...and interact with friends only on tiktok, or reddit.
I got a reply from my note asking what happened, with a "sorry for your inconvenience" "warmly"
I'm biting my tongue...but I thought about replying with a few non traditional words (for me)
I used love looking through those threads...but less and less lately ...and now they disappeared my top 3 favorites...Gold thread, Movies and TV. I might have to start looking up my own movies!

Ditch, one main drawback that I and a few others have with this format is difficulty in posting pics.
If there's an easy workaround to upload pics rather than have them hosted somewhere, that would really liven things up around here.
