Which thread are you referring to? The "Trolls Welcomed" thread or the one for the auction? The trolls thread is still up, but the other was deleted. I think he's referring to the thread that the Troll thread spun off from, To Slab or Not to Slab?. Or it was the Is Grading Strict Currently? thread, the link above doesn't work anymore

Yup. It had 400 or 500 posts of terrible grading and showed a lot of straight resubs getting big changes in grades. It made CGC look bad so they locked it and then deleted it so it couldn't be read or copied. Not the first time I've seen them do that either.

Somewhere in my recent frenzy, I've seen newer slabs for sale that I questioned enough to pass. fwiw BTB,NTL

CGC locked the thread. This topic is now closed to further replies. I think CGC uses those attention clowns (RMA, Kav, Logan510, jsilverjanet) to lock down threads they don't like. How many times has this happened and why haven't they been banned? I'm an attention clown...? I wonder if I can put that on my resume. As for not being banned...despite the fact that the administration would like to ban me, the fact is, they have no solid ground for which to do so, and we have this terribly tacky respect in the United States for not silencing people just because we don't like them. Call me crazy. You, Mr. Scoot, have passed judgment without distinguishing between those who wish merely to participate and interact with others (that would be me, and in my opinion, Janet) and those who contribute little to nothing and/or think it's their obligation to act as quasi-moderation and "call out" (read: provoke) those they don't like. And that's a shame.
