Week 1 Voting
Alright everyone, good job!
Now it's time to Vote.
The rules can always be found in the first post, but since this is the first week I'll re-post everything here to remind you.
I've also created a red 'VOTE' label for the thread that can be applied or removed by any TCBF member (in case I'm not around in future contest weeks).
On Monday morning, we'll tally up the votes to see who won, and then that person gets to select the criteria for Week 2.
We'll also have a running 'Winners' post that we can quote with new winner updates.
So take a moment to review the thread before you vote. It's probably easiest just to quote the entry you like.
Remember, any TCBF member can vote, but you can't vote for yourself.
Rules & How to Play
The winner from the previous week gets to select the criteria for the contest week.
The criteria can be anything, just make sure it's something that has enough covers for a contest.
M-F: Everyone who wants to play posts cover pics based on the criteria. The pics do not have to be from books you own (and probably won't be). Weekend: Any TCBF member can vote for their favorite, or the one they feel best exemplifies the criteria. Anyone playing must vote for someone other than themselves.
Votes are done by post, not poll (everything stays in a single thread).
Winner is the one with the most votes on a single cover. If no cover stands out, the winner will be the player with the most votes (so it makes sense to post a lot of covers). Winner gets to select the criteria for the new contest. No Game Master is required because the votes are easily counted.
Stupid Team Up: I love bacon as much as I hate Tampa Bay!

steveinthecity: Btw, the chard was fine. Very light taste, not bitter at all. Had it mixed with spinach and romaine to use as “greens” for salads.

Stupid Team Up: My Tampa Bay crap sandwich could've used some bacon harumph

Stupid Team Up: By-Tor and the Snow Dog is a terrible Rush song. There, I said it.

steveinthecity: They probably have more than one. Did they make any albums after Moving Pictures?

steveinthecity: oh, there was “Roll The Bones”? I honestly cannot recall them right now.

Stupid Team Up: They did make albums after Moving Pictures because that's when I was old enough to go see them. I remember Fastway opened one of the shows.... Kinda weird choice

Stupid Team Up: I saw them on Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows

steveinthecity: All those titles ring a bell, now. I heard “Permanent Waves” album on radio, and then bought my first Rush album, which was actually the 3-disc set “Archives”. I never did see a live show. I only know Fastway from their 1st album.

Stupid Team Up: Pete Way from UFO and Fast Eddie from Motorhead... Did they have more than one album?

Stupid Team Up: The fake crowd noise is the worst... I can barely hear the announcers.
Sept 13, 2020 11:11:23 GMT -8
steveinthecity: I’m not getting Tampa Bay, it’s St. Louis vs 49ers. +1 on crowd noise. I forgot there was no crowd at first, then wondering why the announcers are talking so loud.

steveinthecity: Ugghh...forgot. Cardinals are Arizona, not St. Louis.
