Isn't that a pre-PGX slab? It doesn't look like a CGC slab.   It was like the Keystone Cops in there last night.  It's interesting that so few remembered. There was a quite a buzz in the hobby at the time because of the way CGC aggressively defended their brand. In retrospect, given the poor spelling of most collectors, and the fact that many of them are drunk-posting from cell phones with auto-correct, the lawsuit was probably a good thing. |

It was like the Keystone Cops in there last night. It's interesting that so few remembered. There was a quite a buzz in the hobby at the time because of the way CGC aggressively defended their brand. In retrospect, given the poor spelling of most collectors, and the fact that many of them are drunk-posting from cell phones with auto-correct, the lawsuit was probably a good thing. Everybody remembered. We were just riffing on the "What is CGG? Does anyone know?" questions that kept coming up, as if it hadn't already been answered.  |
