The Pope JPII bio from Marvel 1982. It seems to be in every agglomeration of long boxes I've ever looked through. Easy flip material.

Could be some comics hunting going on this weekend. Freestyling tomorrow and then Sunday is a local show, one of those throwback shows in a hotel convention room for $5 admission, light on artists and on cosplay.

Skipped the local con today after all.
I've got enough marginal material after that 10 short box purchase in August or whenever it was!

Rachel Rising 1, decompressed story telling at its finest! I'd need to read a few more issues to know if it's good or not.
So much for grabbing people's attention right out of the gate. Don't publishers try to do that anymore?

Not from Marvel & DC at least. Seems all the attention grabbing is done through advance hype of creative teams, variant covers, #1's, etc. Miracle Man was good out of the gate two years ago, but knowing in advance the series is going to end at 12 issues tempered my enthusiasm.
