I've been looking for one for a long time for around $300. Online, the only $300 copies are horrible and look like garbage. This copy is exceptional, and since it has the holes, I got it for a price that I liked. Check on eBay... you won't be able to find a reasonable $300 copy. That's why I bought it. Do you think I made a mistake? Not if you're happy with it.

Exactly what I thought. I know right. To Gabe's benefit, there are way too many people like him, but better to check anyway.

Hi all. I have a beautiful copy of ASM #14 first appearance of Green Goblin. There is no chipping, the gloss is fantastic, and the colors are exceptional. However, it unfortunately has three holes punched on the left side of the book. It was clearly intentional, and my guess is that the previous owner filed it away in a binder for safe keeping, seeing that the rest of the comic is in such good shape. How can a defect like this effect the grade of the book? I'm guessing that if it wasn't for the holes, it would be between and 7.0 and an 8.5 It also has a faint ink stamp on the cover that reads acquired in 1964. Could that mean anything? Thanks, Harrison Hi harres, I don't know if you're still watching...but if you are, you should follow the latest round in Ditch Fahrenheit's Grading Game. *This shameless plug for 'Ditch Fahrenheit's Grading Game' was brought to you by Ditch Fahrenheit.

I wonder if he got the book back from CBCS? If so, it would be great to him to post a pic

Thanks for the update. 3.5 doesn't seem too bad considering the holes punched through the book, foxing, color breaks etc.
