It was called Fun Dip in the U.S. The lime looks good. I want one now... for breakfast before work! If I remember correctly, the dipping stick was banana flavored. My favorite gum as a kid was Adam's Sour. Apparently the cherry flavor was brought back for a time. I liked the Orange and Apple flavors.

I wonder how many kids out there taking Ritalin are actually just hopped up on sugar? Most parents give their kids a big bowl of sugar and milk before they drop them off at school. And then they drink sugar water all day long. And for treats...various forms of flavored sugar with a solid sugar licking post. It's not normal for a human to eat that much sugar.

And no, I'm very much not kidding.

I still don't, funnily enough.

Why are so many kids nowadays allergic to peanuts and strawberries? What are we doing to our offspring to weaken them so? Something I miss.

The toxic chemical soup that is fed to the average American is what happened.

Chemtrails This isn't conspiracy theory. If you think the chemical goop that the major "food" manufacturers pump out is in any way healthy...well, why do you think we have a huge increase in: 1. cancer 2. diabetes 3. allergies 4. infertility 5. gender dysphoria 6. early onset puberty 7. heart disease 8. obesity ...and the list goes on and on and on. With the rise in chemical processing after WWII, and the introduction of GMOs in the food supply in 1994, is it any wonder things aren't WORSE? We strip food of its nutrients, making it dead so that it lasts on the shelf longer, and we then artificially "enrich" it, to remove what we took out...only, our bodies aren't capable of processing it the same way. Sugar is only one example. We make chemistry set "sweeteners", like high-fructose corn syrup, and our bodies have no idea how to react to it, so it freaks out because you've just poisoned it. We put organic, raw honey in our bodies, and our bodies recognize it AS FOOD. We put in our mouths, and expect our bodies to be in peak shape? Not hardly. "chemtrails"...?

It was the first word that popped into my head. I wasn't disagreeing with you and not stating that processed food theory is conspiracy. Processed foods are terrible, which is why the "organic" craze has kicked in. Personally, I'd like to call it what my grandparents called it, you know, food. Psychedelic mushrooms are organic, they're grown in

After thinking about what I was thinking when I wrote chemtrails, my logic was THAT's what people would blame it on, chemtrails....so I was responding to steve, not you. Sorry I didn't quote.

Good point. Why are so many kids nowadays allergic to peanuts and strawberries? What are we doing to our offspring to weaken them so? There's lots of theories but nothing proven. Whatever's causing it, it's because we're doing something differently to when we were kids and when our grandparents were kids.

This thread's got me thinking. I never had the best diet as a kid but I only ate crap in moderation. The only thing I've ever developed an allergy to is the one thing I consumed too much of... Pale Ale!

Yeah, I kind of get it. Ride bikes like lunatics, stay out from dawn till the street lights came on. Kind of a different time. There was no "stranger danger"and comics were affordable.
