It's been many years since I read a lot of the Lovecraft tales, was there a Worlds End in one?I could swear, but then there's Crouch End in the Stephen King story and a Worlds end Gaiman story and both are Lovecraftian. So much stuff floating around in my head! Maybe Hypnos?Anyone?aauugh

Do you know what I hate? I hate that pinhead, Jamie, from the Progressive commercials. I just want to slap that pencilneck AND the ad "genius" who came up with that campaign.

If I hear Dream On by Aerosmith one more time, I'm going to run amok.
I have just inherited a lot of individual, and complete hard back comic series. Im really just needing someone to point me in the right direction to learn as much as i can in a short time. Any help is appreciated.

I always find you can't go wrong with Batman! Anything Bronze Age (1970) onwards would be a good start.

Slumdog Millionaire is a really difficult movie to watch when there’s distractions near by.

While my mind was drifting earlier during the news, I started thinking about English/Western surnames and how few are names of fruits or foods in general. I know there’s Lemon, Cherry, Strawberry, Berry, and Apple. I think “Grape” was purely fictional, so I didn’t count that one. Vegetables/plants gave us Bean, Rice, Sugar, Flowers, Rose, Fern, Bush, Chestnut, and Maple. The oceans and seas gave us Fish, Trout,, Salmon, and Crab(crabbe?Judges?). I know there’s Fishman, and that’s a curious one that likely came about as it was a person who fishes, but what about those in agriculture? We have the catch-all “Farmer”, but not those named for all the individual items they grew. interestingly, the name “Ham(or Hamm)” doesn’t have its origins related to food, but “Bacon” comes from butchers in the old-timely days. I wonder if Harvey Milk’s real name was actually “Milk”?
