Parsley is super easy to grow once the plant gets going. Catnip for the cats, too.

there's a monastary near by where catnip grows wild...it's everywhere.And of course,the lawns are full of cats all summer.

I never really understood the effect of Catnip until years ago I used to have a neighbor cat swing by every morning for it's early dose. After eating it the cat cat would mellow out and lay on its back on my porch. You could walk by him and he wouldn't stir. He was just ripped for a couple hours. It was cute, in cat context.

I've tied to grow it inside to keep my kitties away from my 'other plants and they don't care I've only grown it indoors on the window sill to feed the neighborhood cats. At about the second year the little bush began to flourish. Only ever had one cat that got hooked and would visit me just for that. They would all approach me if I held it out, but their caution light was on. I kind of enjoyed it though. Cats are neat in their own way.

Cats are very weird animals but very cool. I find them so much more interesting than dogs. Always have.
