I watched Independence Day: Resurgence the other day. Didn't think it was so bad. Not the best movie certainly but okay is you check your brain at the door and just enjoy the explosions I try to check my brain, and sometimes can, but one thing I wish Writers would remember is; someone who has been in a coma for more than, oh let's say a week, will not be able to just get out of bed and walk around A couple decades? Get the man a custom fit wheelchair. He'll be in it for a good long while. Yeah, you could have flown a Death Star through a plot hole that big

And I can understand Will Smith not wanting to be in the film, but I thought maybe a real short scene showing his accident and death would have made his character a whole lot less anti-climactic.

I absolutely hated the fact they thought they could set up for a possible trilogy with that abortion. The first one was ok, this one was completely terrible.

Yeah, it seems like the only reason they did it was to plan another one.

Why have I never seen this? Looks awful...which makes me want to watch it.

I've heard of Steel Dawn but have never seen it and I'm a fan of the post apocalyptic genre. It does look awful though. On the other hand, I've seen Damnation Alley and it can't be worse than that piece of feces

Mystery Science Theater 3000, Rifftrax, and Cinematic Titanic riff a ton of these movies if you can't get through them normally. MST3K just did a great one called Starcrash from 1978, a Star Wars ripoff with a hot chick and David Hasslehoff.
