+1, but I never saw the sequel. For some reason I don't trust it, and I don't want to tarnish the first one. Cube 2 is a bit naff. Cube 0 had more going for it but it's not as good as the original.

The bit that sticks in my mind is when he opens the fridge door... ZAP... Then there's frost all over the fridge. I'll buy most sci-fi but not that

In the 70s, I can remember watching movies like Day of the Triffids and Gargoyles. Haven't seen them as an adult so can't comment on their cheese level.
For true stinkers nothing beats original SyFy Channel movies. For example, don't watch Hunter Vs Alien or Ice Spiders. Seriously, don't do it.

I liked Hypercube better than Cube. Haven't seen the prequel, doesn't look interesting at all

Ug. If I'm scrolling through the guide and read what sounded like an interesting film, then see it's on SciFy, I don't even hesitate to keep scrolling.

Tourist Trap with Chuck Conners. I've always thought this was a good low budget horror. And Young Tanya Roberts boobage

A.P.E.X. (1994)
Here's the trailer. I can't find a non-dubbed full length version worth watching on youtube. Despite being pretty cheesy and laden with naff special effects, there's a fairly good battle scene towards the end of the movie... Well, if it's midnight and you've had a few, maybe...

I watched Independence Day: Resurgence the other day. Didn't think it was so bad. Not the best movie certainly but okay if you check your brain at the door and just enjoy the explosions

Not the best movie certainly but okay is you check your brain at the door and just enjoy the explosions I try to check my brain, and sometimes can, but one thing I wish Writers would remember is; someone who has been in a coma for more than, oh let's say a week, will not be able to just get out of bed and walk around A couple decades? Get the man a custom fit wheelchair. He'll be in it for a good long while.
