It's very nice of the seller not to charge a handling fee for a $6k book. Lots of red flags in that one, but the thing that worries me the most is that the book may not actually be a Royal Blue. CGC has been known to screw this up before, and put the regular, ultra common "teal"/"aquamarine" second prints in Royal Blue labels, and pictures are notoriously difficult for capturing the blues correctly. The only way to know for sure in a picture is to see the two side by side, or have multiple different angles to capture the true blue. One of the dumbest things Harris ever did. Sounds worst than an Albedo #1 1st/2nd print scenario. I just googled the difference between the 1st/2nd print Albedo and found out I have a 2nd print copy and not a 1st print that I thought I had.

I always assumed my copy was a first print even though I knew of the differences. After seeing the pictures of a first print copy I was really surprised at how much of a difference there was between the two. My copy is probably a FVF.

This popped up in a search for CGC war. As much as I'm annoyed by keyword spamming, I found this amusing and it did make me pause to take a second look at the books.

You are forgetting that when CAK was looking for pressing paper I took one for the team and dropped it off at his table at the Carbo show with a note that said, "With love from your friends on the CGC Boards." I would invent a return address though and not use my own. That was nice of you. That whole incident made me laugh because at some point CAK remembered one of his relatives had a whole store full of release paper and just went over there and got some. CAK is a member here, but I haven't seen him in a while. He’s probably been busy coming up with creative descriptions for his sales listings.

This just showed up from my new favorite Overstreet advisor. No idea what it’s about or how it works.

Reminds me of some Realtors I know who will give you their first born child for a positive reference. Always wanted a son named “Sebastian”. I’ve looked into both adoption and foster care and those kids come already named. I wish I’d known to contact a realtor.
