Missus comes up to me once and awhile and says, "Hey, lets watch a movie tonight" and the typical "Sure but what" "I dunno" happens.
Give a brother a hand.

Because of no recommendations, I watched Captain America : Civil War today, first time.

What'd you think? Of all the Marvel film, I feel Cap 1 through 3 were homeruns.

The fighting sequences were very well put together. I love Ant Man, I haven't seen his movie yet. Is that character, Lang, the same Lang that tries to control The Phalanx?
Anyways, the movie was alright. I am not a Cap fan, the first one was okay, I haven't seen Winter Soldier. I've only ever seen Baron Zemo on collectors cards, so it was interesting to see that character.
Not sure why Spiderman. They could have just made a movie instead of introducing him like this. Black Panther is simply awesome, and a great actor IMO.
Scarlett and Hawkeye looked like they were phoning this one in.
Without his sense of humor, RD jr just isn't entertaining. I was hoping to see something on Thor and Hulk, but I guess I wait for Ragnarok for that.

I liked Civil War.
Also liked Spider-Man in it. I thought that was the first time his character was captured properly.

I liked Civil War. Also liked Spider-Man in it. I thought that was the first time his character was captured properly. I like the fact that he is finally very young, which is what we expect. I also liked the fact he never shut up, he captured the commentary perfectly and was indeed well played. Not happy with the idea of Tony funding him, though. Doesn't make the roots of the character we know and love. They should have just given him his own movie. Flip side, Aunt May is damn hot, I've always loved Marissa Tomei. Not used to the idea of a Aunt May who isn't a granny though

Well, I said I wouldn't do it, but I just finished XMen Apocalypse.
It's a knife in the heart. Really.
It's only a movie, but I am really hoping the reigns are handed back to Marvel and they will have the moxy to bring us the real XMen and not some delusional tripe.
Do you know why XFactor #6 went up in price, then plummeted? I sure do.
I'd be angry, but then I look at who's name is on that film.

I enjoyed Suicide Squad.
It was a lot better than I had been led to believe.

I enjoyed Suicide Squad. It was a lot better than I had been led to believe. Not a big DC fan, so probably skipping this one. I watched BvS and kinda wished I didn't. I have liked Batman in the past, and the Reeve Superman movies, but that's about it

PS - I wasn't impressed with BvS at all, but others loved it.

I got bored enough to give Apocalypse a try, probably try this one too

Oh and the Lang character that tries to control the Phalanx is Stephen Lang, and Ant Man is Scott Lang. I am curious to find out if they are related or not

Well considering the movie lore is totally screwed up with the real lore, not a wonder I am confused. Scott Lang isn't the real Ant Man. I haven't read many Silver Age books, else I would know this Not a big Avengers fan to begin with...
