Rules and How to Play
1) Everyone is welcome to play. If you're not a member, sign-up is easy; just do it and start playing immediately. We want more players.
2) Videos are used to deliver multiple clues (rounds).
3) Numbered rounds have a portion of a comic book cover visible. The goal of the game is to identify the comic book by Round Number, Title and Issue Number.
Example:
167 - The Incredible Hulk #1
4) We are very casual about exact titles and misspellings, but the round number and issue number must be accurate.
5) The first person to identify the comic book by time-stamped post in this thread wins the round.
6) Each round is worth 2 points.
7) You may guess as many times as you like.
Archives
1) Sometimes a round can prove to be too difficult to be solved quickly (typically one day), at which point it is archived.
2) Archived rounds can be solved at any time and are worth 5 points each.
3) With the exception of the point value, archived rounds are subject to the same rules as regular rounds.
Levels
1) Sometimes, as time permits, additional video(s) will be stored in one or more of the levels (2, 3, 4) to enhance game play.
2) When filled, the levels are password protected. The password is the issue numbers of the solution to the current video in sequential round order separated by spaces.
Example:
10 7 1 5 342
3) To view the additional video, simply type in the password and solve rounds as usual.
4) Level solutions will not count until the all the solutions to the current video have been posted.
5) As a game strategy, you might decide to risk the last round of the current video (by not posting the solution) until after you've seen the Level video. Just remember rule number 4 above.
