“For the primary effect, one should sit at a comfortable distance and then move forward toward the center of the figure. An interesting change in apparent brightness and to some degree form will result—what may be called a “here comes the sun” effect. By moving back and forth, this apparent change will repeat”.
Black Mirror is probably the best Science Fiction anthology series since the original Outer Limits. Unfortunately, most Americans have never seen the first two seasons (I'm an exception ).
Well fellow election victims, you're in luck...Season 3 is coming to Netflix.
The third season features Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, James Norton, Cherry Jones, Wyatt Russell, Alex Lawther, Jerome Flynn, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, Michael Kelly, Malachi Kirby, Kelly McDonald, Faye Marsay, and more. Joe Wright (Atonement), Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), James Watkins (The Woman in Black), Owen Harris, Jacob Verbruggen (London Spy) and James Hawes directed the episodes, with Rashida Jones and Michael Schur serving as writers on “Nosedive.”
Well...I've watched the fist three episodes. The first two were lame; the third was better but nothing to write home about. The first two seasons were MUCH better. I'll watch the rest, but I'm pretty disappointed so far.
i just finished season one. episdoe 3 was one of the best episodes ive seen on tv in a long time. what a great episode

I watched Episode 5 last night - the one about future warfare techniques. That was my favorite so far for this season. Excellent episode.

I'm starting season 2 tonight
Here's my ratings for season one
Ep1 - 3/5 stars. The episode was entertaining but felt a little too comical. I suspect not being British probably something between the lines of the politics of the PM and Royal family were lost on me.
Ep2 - 3.5/5 stars. I enjoyed the build up in this episode. The "hunger games" take on a future society and the bombardment of pop ups was great. The ending was a little disappointing but still solid.
Ep3 - 4/5 stars. Wonderful acting. I'm tempted to give it 5/5. The story is great (betrayal) plus the technology of recording your memories has always been a fascination to me. I really enjoyed this episodes downward spiral
