A while back Brittany McManus had a tragic accident, and her health care insurance ran short quickly. CGC board members created a GoFundMe and started sales threads to sell books to donate the proceeds to her GoFundMe. Last month, a similiar situation arose with Paul Litch. Same over on the CBCS Forum, with Jesse Olson. Exception with Olson is that he is not an employee of CBCS, he's a board moderator which I believe is a voluntary position. I actually am unsure of wether Olson is employed by CBCS or not but that is besides the point. A friend of my extended family was recently injured in a car crash, last I heard he is paralyzed from the waist down. His family had to start a GoFundMe, his employer's health coverage effectively ran out. Paul Litch and Brittany McManus, both employed full time by CGC & have health insurance from CGC, it isn't nearly full coverage. Not faulting CGC for this. There literally is no such thing as a full coverage program for workers available in the U.S. CGC's and CBCS's employee health insurance plans are likely as good as it currently gets in the U.S. The insurance companies, as always, will not pay out. That said, I urge anyone reading this to have a good look at this piece linked below and consider how it relates to people you know. www.jacobinmag.com/2019/10/future-liberals-want-matt-karp-populism-class-voting-democrats

OK. We fast forward 20 years to see Malia Obama as the Governor of CA, a pro wrestler is President, and The Harvard & Jeff Bezos Foundation is forcibly moving low income people into more modernized/progressive cities where they will subsist on artificial food. What's the connection you're trying to make regarding insufficient HealthCare and the four people you referenced in your post? Was there also something worked in there about U.S. citizens should be condemning the EU for "stealing" their flag design from the state of Indiana, or did I dream that part?
Edit: Thank you in advance for any clarity you're able to provide.

As bored as I get, I simply refuse to click any link CAK posts, simply out of self preservation.

I wonder if such a thoroughly selfless gesture might get him reinstated at the grading forums.

I wonder if such a thoroughly selfless gesture might get him reinstated at the grading forums. I don't even recall why he would be banned at the other venues unless it was overt politics/self promotion. I'm not sure I ever saw CAK being contentious, confrontational, etc.

I wonder if such a thoroughly selfless gesture might get him reinstated at the grading forums. I don't even recall why he would be banned at the other venues unless it was overt politics/self promotion. I'm not sure I ever saw CAK being contentious, confrontational, etc. Someone made up a fake shill account and used a proxy IP asddress to make it appear as though the shill account was coming from my IP address. I was on a 2 week suspension from the CGC forums at that time (for political posting WRT the results of the 2016 election, a few other CGC boardies also got temporary suspensions for political postings on the same day as I ) so it was the perfect time for an individual who had some kind of internet beef with me, to make up a fake account bc I would not be logged onto the CGC forum at that time. I never appealed that ban. A while after that, the guy who runs the VA comic con posted a bunch of about me on his facebook page, and my facebook page. I am too pissed to even go into that, I couldnt defend myself in that thread and cgc boardies inferred (incorrectly) that I set up at that con and initiated a chargeback from paypal, which is not what happened. Of course, the VA comic con promoter did not correct those false assumptions. About half a year after the VA comic con promoter got his chargeback for the va comic con booth that I asked him to cancel (which I also asked if he could not give me a refund, to put the $200 I paid for the booth towards a booth at his next con or any future cons of his)...he declined to do so. ....icing on the cake is that he sent me an email about 6 month s after getting his chargeback for the $200 from paypal...telling me that I did not pay him for that $200 booth at his va comic con and he stated he would be filing criminal charges with the police department for the table fee. He was paid for the table (again, at a con I did not set up or attend whatsoever) via the paypal chargeback. He tried to DOUBLE DIP to get paid for the table twice, by threatening criminal charges. I call that a scumbag move, especially after he ran my name thru the mud, created a meme with my face as a "deadbeat dealer", made it look like I did his show and tried to screw him out of the table fee (which again, is not what happened)...I am not sure of what he attempted to do via his double dipping was illegal but I think it would be. I saved that email from him, as well as all other emails he ever sent me, it is in my saved email folder. I also took screenshots of the threat he sent me via facebook, right before he blocked me on there "good luck every getting a table at a con anywhere on the east coast", is what he sent me. He has since unblocked me, . I looked him up on mylife.com after he tried to scam/extort me out of giving him another $200+...., the kid owns multiple businesses, a family jewlery store and had filed for bakruptcy previously. I took screenshots of all of that, kept them to myself and still have them saved. I posted about that on Facebook, he quickly paid the fee that mylife.com offers people in order to be able to edit their personal background details. That guy is a scumbag and a liar. Some time later I got banned from the CBCS forum for off color jokes. I did not appeal that ban, either. That ban was deserved to some degree, I did cross the line but I distinctly stated on that forum (see post #13 in the linked thread) that I was not making homophobic comments/jokes.

The connection is that for M4A to be implemented into law, which would take the private healthcare company mafia middleman out of the picture...in turn, this would make health care free at the point of service in the US as a human right, just like it is in damn near every other country in the world thereby making people not have to resort to resort to being at the mercy of the kindess of strangers to pay their mediacal bills or face complete financial ruin.....to get M$A into law, we need aleader who is not aligned with the neoliberal ideology held by current Dem leadership. Only person running in the 2020 election that fits that bill is Bernie Sanders.

I don't get a sense that his campaign will create near the buzz or support he had previously.
