Whuzzat? I did not indicate any personal preference between CGC and CBCS. My personal preference, if I even had one (which I do not) is wholly redundant. I use both CGC and CBCS for different books, for a slew of differing reasons. What I did say regarding the preference of some buyers....and the personal preference of some buyers/collectors of CBCS over CGC (or vice versa) has a pretty strong bearing on what the given buyer(s) will pay for a book(s): "However, there is certainly a subset of collectors who adamantly believe that CBCS grades tighter than CGC, which I disagree with. Neither company is tighter than the other, on average, and both companies can be fairly inconsistent in grading. That said, that subset of collectors will pay higher prices for CBCS graded books. Caveat being that the books need to be listed at Buy It Now format, especially moderns." That's exactly what I meant by "preference".
I appreciated that. That's why I asked "what are the benefits of CBCS over CGC?"
Those are probably the answers I was looking for.
Preference of buyers is, as I described above, what makes some CBCS graded books sell as high, or higher, than their CGC counterparts. That in itself, is one of the valid reasons why I use CBCS, and not CGC, some some books. So far, you have not brought anything to the table other than saying that you don't like my statements. Why wold I want to go back and forth with someone, in such a context? I'll also add that Stu misinterpreted my statement as stating that my choice of not disclosing specifics on why I use CBCS over CGC, on some books, as a slight solely to CBCS. If I were to state my reasons for using CBCS on some books, and CGC for others, doing so would be a slight towards CBCS and CGC. I have no interest in slighting either CBCS or CGC. While both companies have their advantages and disadvantages on some books, neither company deserves to be slighted.

Btw, it looks like the point of my youtube clip was glossed over; mostly my fault ,though. Another reason I advocate for CBCS and CGC, is that a monopoly on 3rd party grading does none of us any good.

Brilliant...using self-evaluation and description of self as a STUpid statement of attack of another person. STUpid is as STUpid does. The "keen insight" part is just precious.

Off your meds again, Parker? You like to think you're super-intelligent but the only place your ramblings make sense is the inside your head.

I vaguely recall the sketch content, but wouldn't have remembered it or the artist without the link. Did any of this survive the forum, or was it all poofed?
