The Quiet Today thread is locked. I thought it was locked a few months ago?

I thought it wasn't actually locked but you couldn't bump it to the top/make it new by posting in it?

Not much of a community here anymore since the thought police feel the need to show up.

You appear to be thinking. Be careful not to attract attention.

Steve! It's your last chance to see them! PS. They spelled Worcester wrong I always felt their singer would have done a fair job replacing Bon Scott- At least for a tour. But Back In Black was without a doubt the most surprising album I know of. AC/DC was on top of the world with Highway To Hell, and after he died fans were "scared" it was over. Back In Black blew us away in High School. Their Dark Side Of The Moon.

I can't remember the first Krokus I heard. It was around 1981-1982. Good stuff- The album cover was brown I think, and of a door or a chair.
*quick google check*
One Vice At A Time.

Interesting album cover. Is that a confessional window? Made to look a little evil in a 1980s type of way? "One vice at a time" is what my metalwork teacher used to say when clearing up

Krokus started too early, they would've been a great hair band.

Dang, I only just heard about this: www.nytimes.com/2019/12/08/obituaries/caroll-spinney-dead.htmlI bring it up because Caroll was one of the most famous people that lived in my area (Brian Dennehy is the other). I met him when I was younger and he did stuff for the community all the time. What a great job he had!

Back In Black blew us away in High School. Their Dark Side Of The Moon. It's likely the first of several "final" tours. Yeah, I was an AC/DC fan when I first heard the "Metal Rendezvous" album, and heard the Marc Storace/Bon Scott comparisons from the older kids that worked in the record store. I'll pass on the tour as Krokus doesn't really "speak" to me like they did for several years as a kid. I probably only listen to them 2-3 times a year and it's only the M-R and Hardware albums that I bother with. One Vice At A Time I should give a listen to. I thought they went downhill pretty quickly after that. And yeah, Back In Black was/is a great album. Still holds up, I think. Edit: I forgot about the Headhunter album. Dang. That was a long time ago.
