Maybe I read through it too quickly, but I took the sleeping comment to be more a figure of speech. Kind of like me saying "That grilled cheese was so good I'd marry it". Fwiw, I liked Bronte's Mustang, and The Watcher gave me a good chuckle.

Fwiw, I liked Bronte's Mustang, and The Watcher gave me a good chuckle. "I mean you want to cuddle with it like a teddy bear." I've never any desire to cuddle with a comic book like a teddy bear. I've had books I've looked at and admired just because it was a to get, but not to the point where I'm going to set a pillow on the bed next to me.

Yeah, that part's weird, but I chalked it up to poor wording expressing an idea or opinion online. I fail at that as well, so I give benefit of doubt. If the guy really sleeps with a Hulk slab...

I'd like to acknowledge your "hello", but no emoji. I'm nodding my head in your direction and waving. I think I'm facing North.

This got me thinking... We need more helpful threads around here so visitors know what's going on. We should start a thread where we link all the comments made about posters on other forums. That way they wouldn't have to trawl through every new post to see if they'd been mentioned. All the information they need would be in one place. Genius, huh? First of all I thought we could call it the "Assistance for the overly sensitive thread", however "If you whack a hornets' nest with a big stick, you're going to get stung thread" would probably be more appropriate. Let's just keep it short and go with "The Crybaby Thread".

"Life is too short to stuff mushrooms". Not really sure what this means or who to attribute this to, but I needed a " brevity" quote so folks know I'm a deep thinker, etc. That being said I'd throw my support behind a thread titled simply "hornets nest". We could also use the Fly Fishing thread for the purpose of gossip and ridiculing others. I'd link to that thread, but the "search" function isn't working for me.

Yep, search isn't working at all well since the reshuffle. It's a shame because it used to be the best in the world... THE WORLD!

Speaking of taking things too literally, does anyone else cringe when someone says they came across something? Just me? I'm pretty sure this belongs in a Journal of Weirdness, if only there was such a receptacle.
